At Healthy Equitable Living Project, we’re here to make accessing support simple, respectful, and welcoming. We understand that reaching out can feel like a big step. Our goal is to create a space where families feel comfortable, supported, and able to get what they need without stress or judgment.

Every Saturday
Open 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Getting started is simple.

Families can visit us during our pantry hours to begin the process. Our team and volunteers will be there to welcome you, answer questions, and help you get signed up.

We offer a shopping-style pantry experience, which means you’ll be able to choose the foods that work best for your family.

If you have questions before visiting, you’re always welcome to reach out.

How Much Do We Provide?

We provide a variety of food to help supplement your household throughout the week.

While the exact amount may vary based on availability, you can expect a mix of:

Fresh fruits and vegetables
Dairy products
Frozen meats (a resource not always available at other pantries)
Pantry staples such as grains, canned goods, and proteins

Our goal is to offer food that is not only helpful, but nourishing, balanced, and aligned with your family’s needs.

Where Does the Food Come From?

The food we provide is made possible through strong community partnerships.

We work with organizations like:

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) through the USDA
Clark County Food Bank
Local grocery partners and donation programs
Community food drives and individual donors

Because of this support, we’re able to offer a consistent and diverse selection of food to the families we serve.

Who Do We Serve?

Our services are available to families with children currently enrolled in Vancouver School District.

We primarily support:

Families experiencing food insecurity
Households navigating rising costs and limited resources
Families who may not qualify for traditional assistance but still need support
Families who meet income guidelines for assistance programs

No matter your situation, you will be treated with dignity and respect. We are here to support families through both immediate needs and the challenges that come with them.
